Who: Goalkeepers from ages 10+ (Grades 4 - 8)

Time: 5:30pm - 7pm (Dec. 13th)

           9am - 10:30am (Dec. 14th)

           5:30pm - 7pm (Dec. 14th)

           9am - 10:30am (Dec. 15th)

Camp Schedule and Details:

This Winter Camp features Sean Clancy, John Berner, and Tomas Gomez, and provides players with the opportunity to work intimately with three current professional goalkeepers and former professional/current collegiate coach.  The staff will focus on working on the fundamentals of goalkeeping and pass along information that has helped us throughout our careers.

Each camper will get to work directly with professional and collegiate goalkeepers throughout the camp. Goalkeepers will get to watch film and understand certain decisions that a professional would make in different situations. If you register before November 12th each camper will receive our gifts valued over $100 camp shirt, a pair of goalkeeping gloves by West Coast Goalkeeping, and a discount code to our new online training courses. We hope to see you this Winter Camp!

 

December 13th:

Goalkeepers will work at each station with a different staff member about a different topic of goalkeeping.

December 14th (am):

Goalkeepers will work at each station with a different staff member about a different topic of goalkeeping.

December 14th (pm):

Goalkeepers will work at each station with a different staff member about a different topic of goalkeeping. 

December 15th:

This session will provide opportunities to apply the technical training from the first three days and allow them to compete amongst their fellow goalkeepers.

Staff Members for the Winter Camp:

Sean Clancy is a St. Louis Native who played at Rockwood Summit High School and was recently named to the all-decade 2nd team. Sean is a former professional goalkeeper with playing experience domestically in the USL and abroad in Sweden. He brings extensive knowledge of the position to help goalkeepers understand the importance of their role within the team. Sean currently holds his USSF C License. He is an currently an assistant coach at Marquette University, an NCAA Division I program. Sean has previously coached high school at his alma mater, Rockwood Summit (boys and girls) and Maryville University (men's).

John Berner is a St. Louis Native who played at St. Mary's High School. John is a professional goalkeeper with playing experience domestically in the MLS and USL. He brings extensive knowledge of the position to help goalkeepers understand the importance of the position in a broader mindset. John currently plays for the MLS Next Pro team, Atlanta United 2.

Tomas Gomez is a St. Louis Native who played at Webster Groves High School and was recently named to the all-decade 1st team. Tomas is a professional goalkeeper with playing experience domestically in the MLS and USL. Tomas is a two-time recipient of the USL Gold Glove award, which is given to the goalkeeper with the best statistics for the season. He brings extensive knowledge of the position from his incredible experiences. Tomas currently plays for the MLS Real Salt Lake.

Mark Pais is a St. Louis Native who played at Ladue High School. Mark is a professional goalkeeper with playing experience domestically in the MLS and USL. He brings extensive knowledge of the position to help goalkeepers understand the importance of being a professional, both on and off the field. Mark played last for the USL Championship team, Miami FC.
