Camp Schedule and Details:
This Girls High School Prep Camp features Sean Clancy and Katie Nash and provides players with the opportunity to work intimately with former collegiate goalkeeper and former professional/current collegiate coach. The staff will focus on working on the fundamentals of goalkeeping and pass along information that has helped us throughout our careers. This camp is designed to help prepare the goalkeepers for their upcoming high school season and fine tune their performance before tryouts.
Each camper will get to work directly with professional and collegiate goalkeepers throughout the camp. If you register before Feb. 10th each camper will receive a camp shirt and a pair of goalkeeping gloves by West Coast Goalkeeping. We hope to see you this High School Prep Camp!
February 20th:
Goalkeepers will work together and work on increasing their strength and explosive diving to increase their range.
February 21st:
Goalkeepers will work together and work on decision making in breakaway/through ball situations
February 22nd:
Goalkeepers will work together and work on decision making on crossing and distribution.
February 23rd:
This session will provide opportunities to apply the technical training from the first three days and allow them to compete amongst their fellow goalkeepers.
Staff Members for the Girls High School Prep Camp:
Sean Clancy is a St. Louis Native who played at Rockwood Summit High School and was recently named to the all-decade 2nd team. Sean is a former professional goalkeeper with playing experience domestically in the USL and abroad in Sweden. He brings extensive knowledge of the position to help goalkeepers understand the importance of their role within the team. Sean currently holds his USSF C License. He is an assistant coach at Maryville University, an NCAA Division II program, as well as at Rockwood Summit High School.
Katie Nash is a DeSoto Native who played at Rockwood Summit High School and was the starting goalkeeper for the 2018 Class 3 Missouri State High School Championship team. Katie played 4 years at Maryville University where she started for her final three seasons. earns her first D2CCA All-Region honor to go along with several career highs and her first all-conference first-team selection. Nash made 21 starts between the pipes for Maryville in 2022, posting a 12-3-6 record, an .833 save percentage, and tied the program record for shutouts in a season with 11. She brings a unique perspective of the position to help goalkeepers understand the importance of their role within the team.
