Camp Schedule and Details:

This Boys High School Prep Camp features Sean Clancy and provides players with the opportunity to work intimately with former collegiate goalkeeper and former professional/current collegiate coach.  The staff will focus on working on the fundamentals of goalkeeping and pass along information that has helped us throughout our careers. This camp is designed to help prepare the goalkeepers for their upcoming high school season and fine tune their performance before tryouts.

Each camper will get to work directly with professional and collegiate goalkeepers throughout the camp.  If you register before July 17th, each camper will receive a camp shirt, a pair of goalkeeping gloves by West Coast Goalkeeping, and a free month of The Goalkeeper App. We hope to see you this High School Prep Camp!

 

July 29th:

Goalkeepers will work together and work on increasing their strength and explosive diving to increase their range.

July 30th:

Goalkeepers will work together and work on decision making in breakaway/through ball situations

July 31st:

Goalkeepers will work together and work on decision making on crossing and distribution.

August 1st:

This session will provide opportunities to apply the technical training from the first three days and allow them to compete amongst their fellow goalkeepers.

Staff Members for the Boys High School Prep Camp:

Sean Clancy is a St. Louis Native who played at Rockwood Summit High School and was recently named to the all-decade 2nd team. Sean is a former professional goalkeeper with playing experience domestically in the USL and abroad in Sweden. He brings extensive knowledge of the position to help goalkeepers understand the importance of their role within the team. Sean currently holds his USSF C License. He is an assistant coach at Marquette University. Sean coached previously at Maryville University St. Louis, an NCAA Division II program, as well as at Rockwood Summit High School.
